United Ministries needs:  The Learning Center needs loose-leaf notebook paper, pencils, 3-prong pocket folders, graduation robes for the September GED graduation ceremony and an upright vaccum. The Emergency Assistance needs non-perishable food, peanut butter, canned soup, dry beans, individual packages of powdered milk and canned meats. The Place of Hope needs an iron, travel-size soap, spray deodorant, rubbing alcohol, razors, bottled water, hand sanitizer, feminine hygiene products, gently worn belts, men's and women's new underwear, socks and knit hats.

Parent's Night Out will be held on Friday, May 11; 6:00-9:30 p.m.

Mother's Day Breakfast will be sponsored by the Children's Ministry Committee on Sunday, May 13. The menu will include pancakes, fruit, sausage, bacon, coffee, milk and juice. We will begin serving at 9:30. A sigh-up sheet is in the narthex.

Project Host Soup Kitchen- Monday, May 14 from 9:00am-1:00pm. If you are interested in helping please contact Rev. Mollie Reddic at molliebame@gmail.com.

Beach Bash/Messy Church (Pentecost): We will be having a “Beach Bash” on Wednesday, May 16th @ 5:30 pm. This will be held outside on the lawn so be sure to bring your chairs or blankets to sit on. We will also be holding a Messy Church inside during the Beach Bash. The Messy Church will be Pentecost themed and is a family-centered church experience that engages children of all ages to experience Jesus in a fun creative way! May Missions: The mission is the Epworth Children’s Home collection. We will be collecting for Epworth Children’s Home during service on Mother’s Day. We will also be participating in Susan G. Komen’s Worship in Pink. We invite the congregation to wear Pink to church on Sunday, May 20th. We will also take up a special offering to support Rebecca’s Race for the Cure team.
