Health Kits
The Health Kits provide basic neccessities to people who have been forced to leave their homes and are also used as learning tools in personal hygiene, literacy , nutrition and cooking classes. You may donate items for the Health Kits or preferably make a contribution for this cause.
Health Kits should contain the following items:
1 washcloth,
1 comb (large and sturdy)
1 nail flile or finger-nail clippers,
1 bath size bar of soap (3 oz. and up)
1 toothbrush (single, adult size in original wrapper)
$1.00 for the purchase of toothpaste
All items are to be placed in a sealed one-gallon plastic bag
The estimated cost of a kit is $12. The Young Adults will purchase the items in bulk, and assemble the kits from any money donated for Health Kits for Haiti.
Relief Fund for Haiti through UMCOR
Any donations designated for Haiti Relief Fund will be sent to UMCOR. UMCOR assures us that 100% of the money given will be sent to Haiti. Make your check out to Saint Paul and designate Haiti Relief fund.
